According to the Corona del Mar Patch, the Newport Beach Central Library will be expanding another 17,000 square feet beginning in February. The project should be completed by 2012, and involves the addition of a footbridge to the Civic Center Plaza, added room to the children’s area, adult reading area, another main entrance and stairway, and a new cafe, restrooms, lounge area, and much more. To read more on the changes to our library, you can go to the Corona del Mar Patch to read the full article.
