Cheaper to buy than to rent in 72% of largest U.S. cities

According to a study released by Trulia, it is now cheaper to buy than to rent in most of the largest cities in the U.S.  Ever since the beginning of the real estate market downturn, many former homeowners have traded in their bought home for a rental, whether by choice or foreclosure.  But now it’s more inexpensive to purchase a home — even with the insurance, property taxes, and more.
