Surrounding a private lagoon, Linda Isle in Newport Beach features a variety of stylish homes in Newport’s only guarded-gate community of all of the waterfront residences. Most of the houses on this island are custom-built, waterfront, and have private boat docks.  As a U-shaped island, all of the homes are waterfront,  facing either the 500′-wide lagoon or Newport Harbor, some with unsurpassed views of the turn basin. Community amenities include a beach side park, clubhouse and a tennis court.

Formerly known as Shark Island, the Irvine Company once owned this island before selling the lots in the mid 1960’s. It soon became the home to many of Orange County’s art and business titans.  In 1954, Linda Isle became the last to be incorporated into the city of Newport Beach, and it was in this period that the entire city, including the islands, began to change from a resort to a residential community.

Currently, there are 12 homes for sale on Linda Isle, with 3 homes having sold since last year.  The listings range in price from $2,895,000 to $9,995,000.
