A friendly reminder from Renee:

Newport Beach to transition residential trash collection to CR&R Environmental Services beginning March 31; city trash service customers must order new carts by January 20th.

You can order as many new, free trash carts and recycling carts as your household needs and can choose any of three cart sizes (35-, 64- or 96-gallons). CR&R will collect and recycle the old trash cans the week following the delivery of the new carts.

Consider before ordering new carts:

  • How many of the traditional, 32-gallon cans you currently use
  • The size of the space where carts will be stored
  • The option to consolidate and use the larger 64- or 96-gallon carts
  • How many and what size of new carts your household needs
  • The option to separate recyclables at home and order a free recycling cart

Questions? You can call CR&R at 1-866-949-9694
